HOW TO GET STARTED
Say goodbye to single use products. Disposable cotton makeup removers are wasteful. Using reusable and washable pads is a better option. All cotton or all bamboo or mixed reusable make up remover pads are available and are a good option over single use prodcuts.
EMBRACE
1. Less wasteful than disposable cotton pads
2. Will shed less microfiber than
3. Will cause less microplastic shedding upon disposal - other versions contain polyamide and polyester and can't be recycled
AVOID
1. Disposable makeup pads are wasteful - especially of water consumptive cotton
2. Microfiber versions shed a lot of microplastics with each wash
3. Will ultimately end up in landfill and being shedding microplastics

Cost - About the same as dispostable cotton pads though these can be reused countless times
Packaging - Come in mostly paperboard packaging
Effectiveness - Generally effective as a small controllable rag and makeup remover
Lifespan - Likely will last several years with regular use
Fun - Fun as part of a reusable system
Relevance - Well suited for its intended function
Disposal - Has some polyster which makes disposal problematic
Recycling - Contains polyester and of mixed materials so cannot be recycled
