🌿Organize your Office, Improve Productivity
Your home office is more than just a workspace—it’s a place where you spend significant time, and the materials and products you use can have a profound impact on your health and productivity. At The Tribalist, we understand that synthetic materials in your office aren’t just bad for the environment—they can also be harmful to your well-being.
Our Sustainable Home Office Organization is designed to help you reduce synthetic products, create a more organized space, and introduce natural alternatives that support both your health and productivity.
🌿 Why it Matters
The average person unknowingly consumes about 5 grams of plastic every week—that’s the equivalent of eating a credit card. These microplastics come from everyday items in your kitchen, from food containers to packaging, and they carry harmful chemicals like PFAS, phthalates, and bisphenols.
Sustainable Office Organzation isn’t just about reducing waste—it’s about investing in your long-term health. By reducing plastic and single-use items in your home office, you can significantly lower your exposure to harmful chemicals, which has been linked to serious health issues like hormone disruption and infertility.
Our offices are filled with disposable items that don’t have to be single-use. Pens, for instance, are often discarded after running out of ink, but refillable alternatives are available. Other examples include disposable notebooks, plastic binders, and even sticky notes. These disposable items not only contribute to environmental waste but also often contain synthetic materials that further degrade indoor air quality. However, natural alternatives like bamboo, cork, wool, organic cotton, hemp, linen, and recycled wood can create a healthier environment that enhances your focus and well-being.
🌿Our Approach
We recognize that transitioning to a sustainable home office can feel overwhelming, especially when synthetics and disposables are so pervasive. That’s why we take a step-by-step approach, focusing on making manageable swaps that seamlessly integrate into your work routine. Our certified Tribalist Sustainability Consultants will guide you through a personalized process.

...it might as well be a nice space. I didn't realize how awful my home office actually was. Frankly, it wasn't my fault. I just bought what I thought I was supposed to buy. In the end I was just swimming in disorganized junk that was hard to keep track of. I was also guilty of some mild hoarding when it came to plugs, cables, and adapters. Getting rid of so much of the stuff that I was hanging on to "just in case" freed me up to upgrade my work environment to something I actually enjoyed spending time in.
I cannot tell you how much of an upgrade my office has gone through. All the cheap plastic crap everywhere is gone. Just making a bunch of simple upgrades makes my office feel much more real and substantial. It's hard to describe, I just don't feel like I am surrounding by horrible little things that take away my peace.
OK, my biggest take away from this experience is that there is an entire world of products that are just better. I didn't know about the wonderful office carpeting, desk options, natural chair options, etc. I had no idea how bad disposable pens were until I upgraded. Highly recommend.
