ASSESSMENT AS OF: JANUARY 2024

HOW TO GET STARTED

  1. Check with your dentist if you are switching flossing techniques or tools
  2. Get high-quality natural floss made of materials such as silk
  3. Incorporate into your normal dental hygiene routine
  4. Find a place to easily store your flosser and floss - a standing cup may be ideal though this flosser does stand on its own

EMBRACE

  1. Allows use of natural floss types such as silk
  2. Can be reused with a generally decent lifespan if cared for
  3. Won't result in small disposable plastic floss heads and synthetic floss in landfills, waterways, and ultimately as microplastics in the environment

AVOID PRODUCT TYPE

Disposal Head Plastic Flossers

AVOID

  1. Forces you to use nylon or synthetic floss
  2. Generates disposal of plastic components that won't be recycled
  3. Disposed of plastic cartridges and floss will emit microplastics at end of life

Noteworthy Product Attributes
